Nitrile rubber is a synthetic copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile, known for its oil, fuel and chemical resistance. Our powdered nitrile rubber (PNBR) is free-flowing and easier to weigh, blend and disperse than bale rubber. Two main product lines:
PNBR for friction materialsHighly compatible with phenolic resin. Improves impact strength and abrasion resistance, with a stable friction coefficient and good heat-fade resistance. Used in brake pads, brake linings, clutch facings and resin wheels.
PNBR for polymer modificationBlends well with PVC, PE and PP to improve toughness and impact resistance. In PVC it also adds elasticity, tensile strength and oil resistance. Also used in rubber compounding and sealing materials.
